Art of a young artist from Alchevsk Alla Vostryakova is famous all over Luganschina. Her paintings are absolutely incredible. This is due to the unique technique – plasticinography – using plasticine on glass. Alla decided to try this rare technique after the suggestion of her favorite teacher of arts. The process of creation was so exciting that she continued to improve her skills with every following painting.

     In her works the artist tries to show the reality of nature, to give the feeling of being there with the help of such an unusual material as school plasticine. 

     While working with the technique of plasticinography Alla sought herself in different trends. She created portraits, still life, landscapes, seascapes and animal paintings. And no matter what genre she works in the high artistic style and the feeling of beauty remain invariable. Alla Vostryakova’s works can be called jewellery. One millimeter of an image has several tints and there can be about two hundred of them on her pictures.

     It is a very minute work to create the plasticine picture. It requires patience and diligence. Sometimes it takes months to create one painting. And Alla is a real professional in her work. She is mastering new techniques, creating new paintings, and getting ready for her own exhibition.  

     Since May 2007 Alla has been a member of regional popular club “Left-hander” attached to Lugansk regional centre of folk art.       

She took part in the following exhibitions:

• “Luganschina – my love” (20.11 – 25.11.2007) in Lugansk
• “Flowers, plasticine, and a little of Chaikovsky” her personal painting exhibition (12.03 – 20.03.2008)
• “Soul and beauty of native land” (30.04 – 30.05.2008) in Alchevsk
• “The City of Masters” (18.06.2008) in Lugansk
• Since 15.09.2007 to 01.09.2008 Alla held the position of a leader of circle “Stained-glass painting” attached to Alchevsk Children’s and Young People’s  Art Centre. She gave lessons of plasticinography.
• Since 2001 to 2008 this artist created 22 paintings, 5 of them were created as an individual order. Her clients are bankers, officials, company managers, collectors.
